With over a decade of industry experience in plant science, regulations, and supplement development, and a passion for science, David Bingham is an indispensable part of the team at Canyonside Labs.
David has developed an extensive skill set that spans plant science, regulatory compliance, and the creation of innovative supplements. His expertise allows him to navigate the complex regulatory environment surrounding health products while crafting formulations that meet customer needs and industry standards.
As the R&D Manager at CSL, David's primary responsibility is to develop new, effective products for the company’s customers. He collaborates closely with the manufacturing and production teams to ensure that formulations are ready for large-scale production. His role also involves assisting the Quality department with various tasks such as writing reports, conducting investigations, interpreting data, and approving formulations. David’s thorough understanding of both scientific processes and regulatory guidelines ensures that CSL’s products not only meet but often exceed industry standards.
David was raised on the family sugarbeet farm in Idaho’s Magic Valley. He attended Utah State University, where he earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Horticulture. Eager to deepen his knowledge, he also pursued additional education in plant science from the University of Idaho.
Outside of work, David is a man of many passions. He enjoys woodworking, playing basketball, and video games with his kids. He loves exploring the great outdoors, camping, or perfecting his BBQ skills. Most importantly, David loves spending time with family and friends, whether they’re gathered around a campfire or simply enjoying a fun evening together.
